PC+ABS fender trim molded for stable mounting geometry and a controlled exterior appearance.

This custom fender trim combines a visible styling surface with multiple mounting and edge interfaces. PC+ABS is used in the client-supplied product specification, giving the project an engineering-resin platform for impact and dimensional requirements while retaining finishability. Kaidi's DFM review addresses wall transitions, clips, ribs, draft, gate placement and potential weld lines before tooling release.

The buyer should define the exact grade, color, exterior exposure and finish system. Kaidi's integrated molding and painting route allows substrate quality and coating acceptance to be reviewed together, but UV, scratch or chemical performance must be tied to the selected grade and validation method.

Kaidi-Specific Engineering Route
A long fender trim combines a narrow exterior profile with multiple clip locations. Kaidi's Moldflow capability is useful for reviewing flow length, weld-line position and differential shrinkage before steel release, while its 100–1380 ton equipment range allows machine selection after projected area and mold size are known. In-house painting is available when the exterior design calls for a coated finish.

Control overall profile, long-edge warpage, clip locations and flushness to the adjoining body panel. Appearance approval should identify the exterior viewing zone, surface texture or gloss, edge coverage and any project-specific weathering requirement.

RFQ
Submit full vehicle-side mating data, datum scheme, PC+ABS grade, clip specification, finish standard, dimensional fixture concept, annual demand and pack density limit.
