Product Description:

A large PC+ABS seat back panel developed to control profile, attachment points and the full visible surface.

Seat back panels demand more than a nominal overall size. The sourcing drawing must control profile, mounting points, local clearance, edge condition and the cosmetic surface that passengers touch and see. Kaidi's press range extends to 1380 tons, supporting larger trim components, while DFM and Moldflow are used to evaluate wall balance, ribs, gates, cooling and potential weld lines.

PC+ABS is the client-specified material. The buyer should identify the exact grade, texture, color, scratch/cleaner requirements and any cabin-emission limits. Kaidi can keep mold engineering, molding, optional painting and inspection within the same project, reducing handoff risk on a part where geometry and appearance are closely linked.

Kaidi-Specific Engineering Route
The seat back is a larger panel where stiffness and shape retention matter more than a small cosmetic cover. Kaidi can use Moldflow to review filling and warpage, then trial the tool on its production press range and record process parameters. Rib depth, boss support and ejector layout should be engineered around the rear appearance zone and attachment system.

Product-Specific Approval
Approve panel contour, frame attachment points, gap to adjacent trim and broad-surface warpage on the seat assembly. Inspect the occupant-contact side for texture, sink and scuff acceptance using the buyer's limit samples.

Send seat-frame and adjoining-trim data, PC+ABS grade, load and abuse cases, texture master, controlled dimensions, test plan, forecast and packaging protection requirement.
