A custom-molded ABS mirror housing engineered around visible-surface quality, attachment geometry and repeatable assembly fit.
This rearview mirror housing is produced as a custom component for vehicle mirror assemblies, not as a universal replacement part. ABS provides a practical base for a complex exterior shell with ribs, bosses, clips and a controlled cosmetic surface. Kaidi can manage the project from DFM and Moldflow through mold trials, injection molding, buyer-specified finishing and inspection.
For sourcing teams, the key decisions are the controlled attachment datums, housing-to-cover gap, edge profile, sink near internal ribs and the approved appearance standard. Outdoor performance is not defined by the word ABS alone: the production resin grade and any UV/weather coating must be specified and validated for the vehicle environment.
